Maya Plugin

(1)Plugin installation with Maya setup

Download the latest plugin version: MAYA2018-CongPlugin2226;

Decompress the plug-in installation package, double-click the decompressed plug-in, and install the plug-in in the software directory (Figure 262).When you're done, click Finish and the plug-in is installed;

Click on "Window - Settings/Preferences - Plug-in Manager", search for "Plugin" in it, and check the two Windows of "PluginMaya.mll" (Figure 263).Mouse over the icon to see the details;

Close the plug-in manager, search for "SeekerPluginWindow" in the MLE window below MotionBuilder, and press Enter to bring up the plug-in (as shown in Figure 264);

1 Set SDK in SeekerPluginWindow as V2, check RefreshUI, type Unicast, click Offline window to make it go Online (as shown in Figure 265);

Note: Since Maya bone nodes do not allow numeric names, the human Markerset name in XINGYING software cannot start with a number or be purely numeric, otherwise the skeleton will not be displayed in Maya;

After the human body in XINGYING software moves, the model in Maya will be driven to move synchronously (Figure 266).

(2)role-oriented

After the model T-post stands up, pause the XINGYING software, click the "Switch role control" option in the upper right corner, and then click "Create role definition" (Figure 267);

Conduct the "Assign Selected Bone" operation on each bone of the character. After all the operations are completed, the role is successfully transformed (see Figure 268).

Import the model you want to drive into Maya and repeat the steps above to create a role for the imported model.After the creation is complete, character2 and source character1 are selected on the right side to realize the binding of skeleton and model, and the model will be driven after playback (Figure 269).
