(1)Plugin installation with MotionBuilder setup

Download the latest plug-in version "Nokov-MobuPlugin1.2.0.XXX.exe", which is suitable for MotionBuilder2018-2022, unzip the plug-in installation package, double-click the uncompressed plug-in, and install the plug-in in the software directory (see Figure 252).When you're done, click Finish and the plug-in is installed.

Open MotionBuilder, click on "Resources - Asset Browser-Devices", find the "Seeker - Optical Device" in it, and drag it into the Viewer view (Figure 253).

Click the Online button in "Navigator - I/O devices - I/O Seeker-Optical Device" at the bottom of the interface to make it enter the Live state, click "Model binding" and select the Create button in it.And click "Generate a new optical model" under "optical model", after playing, uncheck Live and check again, then move the human body in XINGYING software, and the model in MotionBuilder will be driven.Perform synchronous movement (Figure 254).

Select "Define - Skeleton" in the right window, then click the Characterize Definition in Navigators, select the joint in the scene, and right-click in the definition to assign skeleton bone binding. After completion,Click the Lock character icon and select "biped" to complete the role (Figure 255).

Import the model to be driven into MotionBuilder and do the same role processing as in step 4.

In the "Character Controls" window, select the imported model Character in the Character column and XINGYING human skeleton character in the Source column.Let the human motion drive model in XINGYING software (Figure 256)

(2)MotionBuilder Automatic binding function

The automatic binding function in MotionBuilder can be used for one-click binding when redirecting the action capture data.

Firstly, the human data of moving capture is connected. In real-time mode, the human body stands in standard T-Pose and pauses the movement capture for playback. In post-processing mode, the human data is paused in the first frame.

Open the Settings in the mobile capture software, set IP address to 10.1.1.198 in Network Options, and select SDK. Connect the capture data in MotionBuilder. For details, see "Plug-in Installation and Setup of MotionBuilder".

Expand "I/O Devices" in the "Navigator" TAB at the bottom left of MotionBuilder, click "I/O Seeker-Optical Device",Click "Characterize" in the "Information" on the middle right (Figure 257);

At this time, the human skeleton is automatically bound in MotionBuilder (Figure 258). Expand "Characters" to display the name of the bound human body, which is the same as the name of the human body in the motion capture.

(3)Role requirement

When the action capture data is personalized in MotionBuilder, the imported model bones should be as consistent as possible with XINGYING human bones, and the bone level of the model should be consistent with that of XINGYING human bones.XINGYING human skeleton level (Figure 259), skeleton name (Figure 260), the bone prefix "Body3" refers to the XINGYING human body name;

After importing the model in MotionBuilder, please adjust the pose of the model to T-Pose, which is consistent with the T-Pose of XINGYING human body before driving;

The bone axis of the model should be consistent with the human bone axis of XINGYING. XINGYING human skeleton axis (Figure 261).
