(3) Data collection

Before data collection, it is necessary to ensure that the software has loaded the configuration file, which can be loaded through the "File - Load calibration file" option, or generate a new configuration file through calibration;

Put the captured object into the site with reflective marking points;

Enter the file Name of the data to be collected in "Name" at the bottom of the software interface, avoid Chinese or special symbols for the file name, and press Enter after confirming (as shown in Figure 41);

After confirming the file name of the data collection, click the red record button below to start data collection, and then click the button to stop recording. At this time, a pop-up window will indicate that the data has been collected (as shown in Figure 42);

After recording a set of data, the number after the # symbol on the right of the "Name" input box will change to 2, indicating that the second set of data of the file name will be recorded. Under the condition that the file name remains unchanged, the number will be advanced after each set of data recording (as shown in Figure 43 and 44);

Recording file name add serial number function can be set, name serial number function is selected by default; If you do not need to increase the serial number when recording files, go to XINGYING Settings → Recording TAB → Name Serial number and uncheck the name serial number function. After this function is unchecked, users can input the name of the recorded files. After the recorded files no longer have name serial number increasing, the serial number increasing function displayed on the software interface will also disappear.

If there is a problem with the recording of the second group of data (#2), or for other reasons, you want to re-record this group of data, change the number after # to 2, check the "overwrite file with the same name" on the right, click the record button, you can re-record (see Figure 45), and the same operation can be performed for other groups of data;

When recording, we will check whether there is calibration file in the current recording directory of XINGYING. If there is no calibration file in the current recording directory, the calibration file will be automatically copied to the current recording directory;

If you need to record data for a long period of time, you are advised to use the sharded recording function. In this way, the data that needs to be recorded continuously can be fragmented and packaged for a preset period of time. In this way, the recorded big data can not be loaded normally due to computer performance problems during post-processing.

Open the Settings, check the "fragment recording" function in the "Recording" TAB to automatically record data (see Figure 46), and you can manually enter the fragment duration below, the default is 10 minutes; The unit of the fragment recording time is minute. If this function is selected for recording, when the fragment recording time reaches the specified period, the next file will be recorded automatically. The name of the recorded file will increase from 1, and the segmented file will be saved in the current working path.
