Fast Playback

After recording data in Live mode, the fast playback function can be used to playback the recorded data to see if the desired recording effect has been achieved. It can be used for scenes such as studio and virtual shooting. In the quick playback side window, you can also record, delete, add/delete notes and descriptions of data. When recording data, you can also record reference videos. Below is a brief introduction to the various functions in quick playback:

Open Fast Playback:

  • After recording motion capture data in Live mode, click the "Fast Playback Pane" button on the toolbar above the software to open the Fast Playback panel.

Playback data

  • In the "Playback Data" list, all files in the current working path will be displayed Cap file name, the sorting of cap files is based on the recording time of the file, double-click on one Cap file for quick playback of this set of data.

  • During quick playback, a red text prompt "Fast Playback in progress" will appear above the 3D view, and the progress bar below will also play forward.

  • During the fast playback process, users can pause playback or drag the pointer on the progress bar. After dragging the pointer to a certain frame, the data played in the 3D view will also display the data of that frame synchronously.

Notes:

During fast playback, templates cannot be added or removed. To add or remove templates, please exit fast playback first and double-click the name of the played. Cap file again to exit fast playback and return to Live mode.

When playing back quickly, it will automatically match the loaded Mars file. If the Mars file is not loaded, the MarkerSet will not be displayed in the 3D view.

File Description and Remarks:

  • After double clicking on a. Cap file in the "Playback Data" list, you can add descriptions and comments to the cap file in the "Detail" section. The added descriptions and comments will be bound to the cap file. The next time this cap file is played back, the content of the last added description and comment will be displayed in the description and comments section.

Recording:

  • In the quick playback window, you can also perform data recording operations by entering the recorded file name in the file name. You can choose whether to automatically increment the recorded file name. Before recording data, you can enter a description for the recorded data, which will be bound to the recorded file. Click the record button below to start recording, After recording, double-click the. Cap file that was just recorded in the "Playback Data" list. The description box will display the description content entered before recording.

Delete:

  • Manage cap files in the "Playback Data" list. After double-clicking a cap file, you can use the delete button to delete the selected cap file. Except for the Mars file and calibration file that this cap belongs to, all other files will be deleted (please use this function with caution, once the file is deleted, it cannot be restored).

Recording and playback of reference videos:

  • If you need to record a reference video, deselect the "Reference Video" checkbox below the software in the quick playback panel before recording data. Click the record button in the quick playback panel or the third record button in the middle of the software to start recording.

  • Before recording data, you can also describe the recorded reference video. Enter the description content in the description section of the quick playback panel. After recording, double-click the recording file to start playback, and open the reference video view. The description content entered during data recording will be superimposed on the reference video;

Record files:

  • After recording data in Live mode, a recording file will be automatically generated in the same directory as the recording file, which is also the software working path. The file type is a text document (. log). The recording file will record the name of the file recorded on that day, the start and stop recording times, the description information and remarks information during recording, and the recording file name is the date of the day.

  • For easier viewing of the content in the file, you can drag the field record file into an Excel spreadsheet to view it.
