(Ⅵ) Camera Connection

Network camera connection:

  1. Open the Astra software, click on the "Third - Party Devices" menu bar at the top of the software, and select "Network Camera Configuration".

  1. In the network camera configuration window, click "+", enter a custom name. You can enter the camera's IP address as the name for easy differentiation. Enter the camera's IP address in the address bar, such as "10.1.1.201" (the IP is at the bottom of the camera). For the network, there is no need to fill in the stream name, username, and password. If using a special camera (edge camera), then the stream name needs to be filled in. The username and password are optional. After the information is entered, click OK.
  2. The camera list will display the information of the currently added cameras. After selecting the camera name, the properties of the camera will be displayed on the right side.
  3. Open the reference video, and the camera image will be displayed. Next, click the connection button. After detecting the number of lenses, click the play button, and then you can start using it.

USB camera connection:

  1. The USB camera does not need to be configured in the software. After completing the networking of the USB cameras, open the software and directly start the reference video, and then the images of each USB camera can be displayed.

Device connection

  1. After clicking the lens connection button at the bottom of the interface, a window will pop up to prompt the number of detected cameras.

If the pop-up window prompts that the camera cannot be found, or the number of cameras is inconsistent with the actual number, please check whether the camera is correctly connected, whether the IP address on the computer has been modified, and whether the firewall and antivirus software have been turned off, etc. After that, click the play button at the bottom of the interface to start the camera.
