2.USB Camera
USB Camera Networking:
- Multiple USB cameras can be cascaded using a USB Hub3.0. If the USB cable of the camera itself is not long enough, a USB 3.0 extension cable can be used in combination and inserted into the USB port of the computer host. It is recommended to use the USB 3.0 port on the host.
Optional selection of USB cameras:
- Due to USB bandwidth issues, please try to use a desktop computer with multiple USB ports for testing. When purchasing a USB camera, cameras of the same brand and model should be used. Do not mix different types of cameras to avoid affecting the display effect.
- When the USB camera shows a black screen, no image, or a frozen image, the general cause is the bandwidth issue of the camera being used.
- When you need to use a hub for expansion, please choose a USB 3.0 hub. We do not guarantee that the camera you use can be displayed normally. You can also consult the salesperson to obtain the purchase link of the cameras that have been verified.
- The links to the lens models and parameters that have been verified are as follows:
- Aoweini Industrial Camera (Color 1080P60fps_3.0mm Distortion-Free):
- Hikvision E11
- Aoni C33
- For laptop users, we strongly recommend using the Aoweini industrial camera. This camera supports expansion via a USB3.0 HUB. The other two cameras are only recommended for desktop computers. You can also purchase other models for testing on your own, and supplements are welcome.
USB Camera System Settings:
- Some USB cameras may be recognized as "Image Devices" by the Windows system, causing the Astra software to fail to detect the USB camera. In this case, you need to open the Device Manager to check if the USB camera is recognized as a "Camera".

- After completing the above steps, the USB camera will be successfully recognized as "Camera" in the Device Manager. At this point, when you enter Astra, the USB camera can be detected normally and the image can be displayed.
USB Camera Debugging Tool:
- For some camera models, a black screen may appear in the software after they are connected to the computer. This may be caused by the camera resolution. You can use this tool to check the camera resolution.
- In the device, you can view the resolutions and models of each USB camera connected to the computer. After selecting the corresponding camera, the corresponding image can be displayed in the tool.
