(1) System settings

  1. Some USB cameras may be recognized as "image devices" by the Windows system, resulting in the calibration tool being unable to detect the USB camera. At this time, it is necessary to open the Device Manager to check whether the USB camera is recognized as a "camera".
  1. If the USB camera is recognized as an "image device", follow these steps to solve the problem:
  • Right-click the icon "This PC", click "Manage", open "Device Manager", find "Image devices" in the list, click and select the camera with the right mouse button, choose to update the driver program, and click "Next".
  • Select "Browse my computer for driver software" and click Next.
  • Select "Select from a list of available drivers on your computer", then click Next.
  • Uncheck the checkbox for "Show compatible hardware". Select "Microsoft" in "Manufacturer" and "USB Video Device" in " Model". Click "Next".
  • After completing the above steps, the USB camera will be successfully recognized as "Camera" in the Device Manager. At this time, entering the calibration tool can normally detect the USB camera and display an image.
