Before starting the Live software, please install the corresponding Cuda version according to the graphics card of
the computer currently in use. Insert the USB connection cable of the camera into the USB interface of the computer
where the Live software is installed. If there are not enough USB interfaces, a USB Hub can be used, and it is
recommended to use a USB Hub3.0.
Right-click on the Live software icon on the desktop and select "Run as administrator" to open the software.
Live will automatically load the calibration file on the computer that has already been calibrated, connect the
lens and start playback. If there is no calibration file in the working path, the system calibration can be carried
out.
For the first-time use, it is necessary to first establish the data archive location. Click the "File - Select
Directory" option in the upper left corner of the software, select the folder path where the data needs to be saved in
the pop-up window, and click "OK". The name of the folder set should avoid Chinese characters or special symbols.
For the first-time use, please refer to the calibration instructions below to calibrate the system.
Open Settings - AI Settings, select the default "Yolov8" as the video recognition engine, and turn on the "Markerless"
recognition switch.
If you want to capture multiple people, you can modify the maximum number of people. The default value is 1.
After clicking the lens connection button at the bottom of the interface, a pop-up window will prompt the number of
detected cameras. In Live, the Y-axis is upward by default.
If a pop-up window prompts that the lens can not be found or the number of lenses is incorrect, please confirm whether
the USB camera is installed correctly, whether the IP address has been modified properly, whether the firewall and
antivirus software have been turned off, and whether the USB cable is loose, etc. Click the play button below the
interface to make the lens start running.
