6.Ground Calibration
Before using this function, please calibrate the system first by Initial Calibration. After the calibration is completed, place the Marker surface calibration point on the site. It is necessary to place 3-5 Marker points in the capture scene, and ensure that the position of the placed Marker points is in the even part of the capture scene.
Ground Calibration:
Switch to 2D view, click on Calibration, select Ground Calibration, keep default parameters and name, double-check the number of marker points in the area, click on Calibration. After calibration, all midpoints in the 3D view should be on the ground. Click on Save, a file dialog will appear, click OK (8.6.1).

The number of marker points must be greater than 3, and there should be no other extraneous points in the area except for the placed points.
Height Offset:
When specifying the radius for the Marker, please reference a point. Ensure that after calibration, the Marker will be displayed completely on the ground.
The default is 0.
Note: The unit of measurement for the value is in millimeters.
Custom Ground Calibration Operation Steps
Enable Custom Ground Calibration Mode
When the custom ground calibration mode is enabled, the software interface will display a frozen frame and freeze the current frame image.
Select Points to Determine Ground Information
Single Point Selection: Hold down the CTRL key and select any point in the 3D view. The XYZ position of each selected point will be displayed in the calibration panel.
Multiple Point Selection by Box: Hold down the SHIFT key and box-select any multiple points in the 3D view. The XYZ positions of the selected points will also be displayed in the calibration panel.
Regarding Height Offset
Special attention should be paid to height offset. Height offset has no impact on custom ground calibration operations, so this factor does not need to be considered during the calibration process.
Save the Calibration File
After the calibration is completed, you must manually save the calibration file. Otherwise, if the software exits, the calibration information you have done before will be lost.
