6. 2D Point Selection Calibration

The presence of reflective objects in the field has led to the extraction of noise points in the 2D view. During L calibration, there is no need to manually mask the noise points in the 2D view. Instead, you can use the 2D point selection feature to select the four 2D points on the L rod, even in the presence of noise points in the 2D view for calibration.
First, place the L rod in the field, and then click the "Freeze Frame" option at the bottom of the software to keep the 2D view in a frozen state.
Locate the 2D view containing noise points and select the four points on the L rod. Once the 2D points are selected, they will be highlighted with a yellow circle, and the number of selected 2D points will be displayed in the lower-left corner of the 2D view. Repeat the same process for any 2D view with noise points.
The methods for selecting 2D points in the frozen state are as follows:
Ctrl + Left Mouse Button (Point Selection Method)
Shift + Left Mouse Button Drag (Box Selection Method)
After completing the selection, open the calibration panel, choose "Basic Calibration," select the correct L rod type and calibration axis, and click the "L Calibration" button. You will see that the L calibration passes even with noise points, as long as the four points on the L rod were selected. Then, click the "Unfreeze" button to proceed with T calibration and subsequent operations (the 2D point selection method can also be used for L calibration during updates).
