Click the "Two Views (Top/Bottom)" button on the upper toolbar to split the main interface into two panes. When a window is selected, a yellow border will appear around it. At this point, use the drop-down menu at the top left of each pane: set one to display "3D View" and the other to "Analysis Graphs" (12.4.1).
Select a marker point from the asset panel or the left analysis chart panel to see its XYZ coordinate curve in the window (12.4.2).
You can use keyboard shortcuts to select the marker name in the asset panel. To select all marker names at once, use the "Ctrl+A" keyboard shortcut.
Check each marker point in the MarkerSet for any data loss. If a marker point is missing in the data frame, the chart will display a data loss indicator (12.4.3), helping you quickly locate the lost point frame. To include the missing data, press the middle mouse button and drag on the timeline. Click the "Cubic Join" button in the toolbar to repair it. Note that if the missing data fluctuates significantly or if five consecutive frames are lost, using a cubic connection for repair is not recommended.
In a paused state in the software, slowly drag the data progress bar and observe the 3D view to check if there are any unrecognized marker points on the model. If there are any unrecognized marker points on a frame, click the frame-by-frame playback button to play the data frame by frame to identify when the points were missed. Determine the name of the point (you can find the marker name in the asset panel).
For a single frame of unrecognized markers: Click the "Quick ID" button to open a dialog box. In the asset panel, select the name of the unrecognized marker point. The name in the "Quick ID" dialog box will change to the name of the selected point in the asset panel(12.4.4). The unrecognized marker point will now be correctly identified in the 3D view, changing from a white unnamed point to a colored named point. The links between marker points will also be automatically restored.
For multiple frames of unrecognized markers: If a particular marker point remains unrecognized or incorrectly identified across a series of consecutive frames, encompass the range of these abnormal continuous frames in the selection. Open the "Quick ID" dialog box and select the name of the marker point to be fixed in the asset panel. This will help in identifying the points correctly in the 3D view.Clicking the "Track Identify" button will correctly identify the repaired points within the selection range.
If you need to fix and identify a point using the Quick ID function and want to lock the value for that specific point, you can use the lock feature in the Quick ID dialog box(12.4.5). This will prevent the marker point name from automatically changing after each identification, making the operation more convenient.
After completing the data repair, click on the save button in the asset panel, then go to "File" and select "Save Motion Capture Data."
