(5) Forces and moments

Forces and moments can be displayed in real time when connected to a conventional 6218/6225 or digital force tester in real-time mode. In the Settings, click "Force Table Parameter Setting" and "Channel Configuration" to display the output and torque in real time in the "Force Table" window (as shown in Figure 173). After recording the data of force and torque of the force table in real time, the data of force and torque can also be displayed in the "Force Table Data" window in post-processing.

In the "Unit of Force" drop-down box in the "Unit of Force" window of the force table data, the units of "Kilogram-Force", "Pound-Force", and "Newtons" can be switched (see Figure 174).The "zero setting option" can be switched in the drop-down box in the data "window of the force measuring table", and the software defaults to "no zeroing" (as shown in Figure 175).
