(2) Update Calibration (Updata)

After calibration, if the split effect of "marker" in 3D view is not good or the effect is not good due to a long interval between the calibration time and the use time, update calibration can be carried out to keep the camera in real-time playback state. Click the "Calibration" button at the bottom of the software interface to carry out calibration, and select the option of "Update calibration" in the pop-up window (as shown in Figure 36).Update calibration does not require the L-shaped rod to be placed first, but to ensure that there are no other impurities in the site except T-shaped rod, if there are impurities in the camera field of vision, you can repeat "(a) system calibration (basic calibration), 5, 6 processing";

Click "Next" to enter the T-type calibration. In the T-type calibration window, if the calibration file after partition calibration is loaded, select the number of the area to be updated in "Region", and select "All" if you want to update and calibrate the entire area.At the same time, check the "Protect Current Camera Correction" option (as shown in Figure 37) to prevent the camera parameters from being modified during the calibration process.

Repeat step 14 for T-type calibration, when the calibration time is up, click "Next", the software will automatically calculate, and the calibration result will be displayed in the window after completion (such as: poor \ normal \ good \ very good, if the calibration result shows "poor" it is recommended to re-calibrate, the rest can be saved and used normally), click "Next" for L-type calibration (as shown in Figure 38);

Put the L-shaped rod into the site and ensure that there are no other impurities except the four points of the L-shaped rod in the site. Click "Next" to carry out L-shaped calibration. After successful calibration, click the "Finish" button to complete calibration (as shown in Figure 39).If the calibration fails, a pop-up will be displayed (as shown in Figure 40). The calibration failure may be due to the fact that the software cannot correctly identify the L-rod due to the presence of other impurities besides the four points of the L-rod in the site. When the L-rod is calibrated in the update calibration, the position of the L-rod should be close to the position of the L-rod in the system calibration, and the difference between the two should not be too large.The L-rod length parameter selected is inconsistent with the actual L-rod length parameter, the L-rod length parameter setting can refer to Step 10 in "II. System Connection (III) Software Setting";

Update calibration L-type calibration failure solution: eliminate environmental factors, remove the site in addition to the L-type rod four points other miscellaneous points. Self-check whether the L-rod parameters set in the software are consistent with the actual L-rod. Click Previous to return to the previous step to re-calibrate the L-shape.If the calibration still fails, consult the technical engineer.
